What is Cold Brew Coffee ?<\/h2>\n

Cold brew or cold-brewed coffee is a slow coffee brewing method<\/a>. The principle is quite simple. You just have to let your coffee ground brew in a large quantity of water for at least 12 hours<\/a><\/strong>, sometimes even longer. Don’t mix it up with your typical ice coffee, though! Ice coffee is made by brewing hot coffee, usually with a filter coffee method, to then chilling it either by refrigerating it or pouring it over ice. Ice coffees are usually weaker and less flavourful than cold-brewed coffee<\/a>. As with all extraction methods, the choice of coffee is up to you and will make all the difference. In order to obtain a harmonious drink, and to avoid the bitterness caused by over-extraction, it is best to use coarsely ground coffee<\/strong>. Ideally, we recommend lightly roasted coffees<\/strong> with floral or yellow fruit notes to bring out the full subtlety of these aromas and give your summer drink an extra refreshing touch.<\/p>\n
